   Big score Merry Christmas card
Welcome to my tutorial page thank you for showing an interest in how this card is made.

For this project you will need:
Big score board, A3 card stock, gold mirror card, traditional merry Christmas die, traditional entwined holly die, die'sire classic poinsettia die, traditional Christmas 6x6 paper pad, collall 3d glue and collall all purpose glue.  Other items faux pearls or something similar to make the centre of the flowers an embossing mat and tool to shape the flowers and holly.

Cut the A3 cardstock to 6inches width.  Leave the length this will be trimmed later. Using the side of the board with inches,  Butt the short edge of card to the top left side of the board and score at 3 inches, 5 inches, 9.2 inches, 11.2 inches.  Fold the last scored mark (11.2 inches) and then butt the folded edge at the top left of the board and score at 3 inches.  Trim off the remaining card at the last 3inch mark.

Fold all score marks and your card should now look like the image above, this is the basis for the project.

Using gold mirror card die cut several middle size poinsettias and several small size poinsettias, you will need two of each size for each flower.  Diecut several large holly leaves the Merry Christmas and the entwined holly die all with gold mirror card.  Using embossing mat and tool rub the petals of poinsettia and holly leaves on the wrong side to create some dimension to the die cuts.

I used collall 3d silicon glue to put the flowers together and in the centre of the flower to give the pearls some lift, the 3d glue dries clear.

Using papers from the 6x6 paper pad decorate the card then attach flowers with collall 3d glue, adhere sentiment and frame to the card with collall all purpose glue.

Here is another version of the card just using black card, still effective.

Once dry use distress ink around the edges of both hearts.  Tip: use sanding block again to file down any paper overlapping the edges.

 Cut out flowers using scissors.

shape flowers with embossing tool and mat.

Layer two different sized flowers together and add 2 or 3 faux pearls to the centre of the flower.

Add flowers, branches and leaves, adhere the ornate heart to the patterned side of the second heart.

Use approx. 40cms of white organza ribbon and attach both ends with glue.  Use tacky glue to adhere backs of both hearts together sandwich the ribbon between both hearts.
