Crafters inspiration mag 11

Here are two Autumn themed cards using freebies from the crafters inspiration magazine 11

I just loved using all the Autumn themed colours

For the above card I used strips of coloured card from the coredintions dark paper pad and embossed with the leaf vine embossing folder, I sanded the embossed images, then weaved the coloured strips to form a checkerboard sort of pattern.  I used the polymer stamps for the centre.

For the above card I die cut the leaves onto neena classic white card then coloured the die cuts with aqua tint inks, i used the landscape  and gold from the essential set, I used an embossing tool and mat to draw in veins on the leaves whilst ink was slightly wet, so when they dried they retained their shape.  I also used coredination dark cardstock and gold mirror card.

Verity Rose using aquablend pencils

Verity Rose ( moonstruck)  cards

Here are two makes for Crafters Companion, using the beautiful verity rose collection.

I used papers from the verity rose cd.  The base card can be made by viewing My tutorial tab above, as I used the same base card as the one I used for the blog hop....see earlier post.  I used moonstruck stamp and cupcake stamp accessories to make this card and the stamped images were coloured in with spectrum noir aquablend pencils.  I also used the doily die from the verity rose collection and organza ribbon to make the bow.

This card I used moonstruck stamp again and the moonstruck die accessories.  I used the traditional colour for moonstruck the purple which just happens to be my favourite colour too.  I think this is why I have been drawn to the moonstruck character.  Again I used papers from the verity rose cd.  The card base was a simple two fold card, when closed allows the owl to be seen but the sentiment hidden.  Spectrum noir aquablend pencils were used to colour the stamped/ die cut images.

I used A3 double sided centura pearl card stock from the downton abbey collection to make the gift box.  English country garden floral vine edge die for the candle holder, and the matching English country garden floral duo dies.  The embellished flowers were cut from centura pearl Snow White card with a hint of gold.  The sentiment was with love from the die'sire essential die collection.  This project I was able to use my brand new Spectrum Noir Aquatint inks essential collection in gold to colour the centura pearl card, heat resistant acetate was used for the window.

The candle holder was made by re using an empty Nutella jar. A Yankee candle votive was used inside the candle holder to make a beautiful gift.

Every Rose 6x6 card project

Hi every one, sorry for the delay in posting.

For this card I used Sheena Douglass Every Rose stamp and the fabulous spectrum noir aquablend pencils.  I used the primary and natural set.  The stamp was stamped onto Neenah classic white card.
From the primaries I used verdant green, bright green, ruby, red berry, grapefruit and sapphire pencils and from the natural collection I used clay, sorrel and wheat colours.  I used a waterbrush to blend the pencils and tore around the image.

I also used 12x12 core'dinations dark paper pad for the background which I sanded with the core'dinations sand it set.
The sentiment  just for you stamp was from diesire sentimental love is all you need stamp set, I used spectrum noir bt9 to ink up the stamp.  I mounted the background onto centura pearl Snow White with a hint of gold card stock.ii
